SCI LABORATORY CAPABILITIES
SCI Engineering, Inc. has five laboratories in Missouri and Illinois to support the engineering services we provide - geotechnical, environmental, construction, natural resources, and cultural resources. Laboratories are located in O'Fallon, Illinois and St. Charles, Union, Rolla, and Springfield, Missouri. The laboratories staff seven full-time and five part-time engineering technicians. Personnel are shared as work load requires.
The Calser Corporation professionally calibrates and verifies laboratory and field equipment annually.
PREQUALIFICATIONS & CERTIFICATIONS
Illinois Department of Transportation
Select laboratory and field equipment is also verified by IDOT on an annual basis. The most recent inspection was July 2009. SCI is prequalified with IDOT.
United States Army Corps of Engineers
St. Charles and the O'Fallon, Illinois laboratories are both validated by the U.S Army Corps of Engineers. The most recent COE audit was October, 2009.
American Association of Safety Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO)
The St. Charles laboratory is AASHTO accredited. The most recent AMRL inspection was March 2009, and the most recent CCRL inspection was November, 2009.
Other Organizations

LABORATORY EXPERIENCE WITH U.S. ARMY CORPS OF ENGINEERS
Since 1990, SCI personnel have been involved in laboratory testing work for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers on many projects. These projects have consisted of extremely large quantities of samples with quick turnaround requirements. SCI can provide the geotechnical testing capacity needed for your project, whether large or small. Sample projects include:
