SCI is providing environmental services for the construction of a new interchange on Interstate 255, east of the Jefferson Barracks Bridge and near Fish Lake Road in Columbia, Illinois. SCI's scope of work includes the preparation of the EA, which addresses the "no-action" alternative along with the five "build" alternatives. The affected environment and environmental consequences related to water resources, wetlands, agricultural lands, threatened and endangered species, air quality, special waste, noise, socio-economics, land use flood plains, and cultural resources were addressed in the EA. SCI is also responsible for all public involvement activities.
