SCI has provided all the compaction testing of fill placed for the WingHaven multi-use development. At the time of the development, this project was determined to be the largest and most financially significant in the state. The site is 1,100 acres and has required 1.5 million cubic yards of fill to date. The site will include approximately 2,000 residential units, as well as apartment complexes, several residential developments, commercial and industrial buildings, a lake and dam, and a new interchange at Highway 40. SCI provided services for several clients during this project including Mastercard, Nordyne, and GLA International.

SCI also provided natural resource compliance during the development of this residential site. SCI conducted wetland delineations, impact assessment, endangered species consultations, regulatory agency coordination and negotiations permit applications and acquisition, and mitigation planning. On-going construction services include permit modifications, erosion and mitigation monitoring, and biostabilization planning. SCI also obtained Section 404 and 401 permits from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the Missouri Department of Natural Resources.
