Involving a 12-block residential area that had originally been developed from 1880 - 1930, Botanical Heights is one of the largest urban redevelopment projects in Saint Louis. Located just north of I-44 between 39th Street and Vandeventer Avenue near the Missouri Botanical Garden, Botanical Heights will offer more than 400 residential units and will include new and rehabilitated space for manufacturing and technology-based businesses and institutions.

SCI was contracted to perform various environmental consulting services by McBride & Son Homes Land Development Inc. including: Phase I and Phase II Environmental Assessments; numerous subsurface investigations, including soil and groundwater sampling; and negotiation and closure of the site through the Missouri Department of Natural Resources Brownfields/Voluntary Cleanup Program.
