This project involves the construction of a recreational trail extending from Windor to Pleasant Hill, Missouri, totaling approximately 46 miles. The trail will be an extension of the existing Katy Trail Park and trail system and will be co-located with the existing Missouri Central Railroad right-of-way. SCI conducted a survey of a proposed hiking and biking trail to identify wetlands, waterbodies, and sensitive species habitat within the proposed trail corridor. Field surveys were conducted at recently as November 2008. SCI also conducted an archaeological survey for this project.
