SCI provided geotechnical explorations, foundation recommendations and construction-phase services for a two-story city hall and community center auditorium, gymnasium, skating rink, and natatorium. Deep foundation inspection and soil, concrete, asphaltic concrete, and steel testing were also provided.

SCI also performed a geotechnical study for the Rec-Plex expansion to be located just south of the existing Rec-Plex. Features of this expansion include construction of a 106,000 square foot recreational facility with two NHL-size ice rinks. A total of 12 borings were drilled at approximate locations. SCI also evaluated the foundation conditions for the addition to be constructed contiguous with the north wall of the existing Rec-Plex, and a two-story remodeling of the east half of the basketball court.
