The Branson Convention Center and the Hilton Branson Convention Center Hotel are elements of Branson Landing a $420 million public/private project spanning 1.5 miles of Lake Taneycomo adjacent to historic downtown Branson. The Branson Convention Center offers 220,000 square feet of flexible meeting space, including two exhibit halls totaling 50,000 square feet, which connects to a 23,000 square foot ballroom. The project opened officially in the Summer of 2006 and includes 450,000 square feet of retail shops and restaurants-including Bass Pro Shops and Belk department store, condominiums, a boardwalk, marinas, entertainment, parking and an additional Hilton property.

SCI provided construction testing services during the construction of the Convention Center and Parking Garage located in the Branson Landing Development in Branson, Missouri. SCI's services included providing quality assurance to document construction procedures for compliance with plans, specifications, and good construction practice. Special inspection services included structural steel welding and bolting and NDT, spray-applied fireproofing, structural masonry, and reinforced concrete. Construction services for the parking garage included Portland cement concrete observation/testing, reinforcing steel observations, structural steel observations and density testing for the pavement slab-on-grade. SCI also provided testing services for the Belk Department Store in Branson Landing.
