SCI recently provided construction testing and observation services for the Custodial and Grounds buildings for the University of Missouri-Rolla. Services included: Observation of the removal limits of high plastic soil, monitoring of the compaction of soil fill during general grading and remediation of high plastic soil, monitoring of the compaction of floor slab subgrade and rock base, concrete testing, special inspections for reinforcing steel, and structural steel inspections.

SCI also provided special inspection services including concrete, masonry, structural steel, welding, firestop and fireproofing for Residence Halls II & III, and previously provided through-penetration firestop systems and structural steel inspection services for Residence Hall I.

SCI provided construction testing and observation services including: Drilled pier installation observation, monitoring of compaction of fill during general grading and backfilling, and also during remediation of high plastic clay and /or poor existing fill soils, observation of foundation bearing strata for retaining walls, monitoring of compaction of floor slab and pavement subgrades, rock bases, and asphaltic concrete, reinforcing steel inspection, concrete testing, special inspections for concrete reinforcing steel, masonry, and fire-stops, and structural steel inspections.

SCI provided special inspection services including construction observation reports for fire-stops for the building. SCI also conducted laboratory testing consisting of sieve analysis and asphalt extraction for the parking lot associated with T.J. Hall.
