SCI provided multi-discipline services to a new retail development on an approximately 4.5-acre site at North Grand Boulevard between Martin Luther King Drive and Page Boulevard. The site features a 45,000-s.f. shopping center anchored by a grocery store.

A Phase I Environmental Assessment was provided as part of a geotechnical exploration, observations were made to determine if site development activities would likely encounter petroleum, toxic, or hazardous materials. SCI also provided geotechnical recommendations and construction testing and observation services including six test pits in the building pad area. Additional environmental services included: ACM services, multiple Phase II Assessments, UST closure, and negotiation and closure of the site through the MDNR Brownfields/Voluntary Cleanup Program (B/VCP).
