St. Charles, MO – December 17, 2007. SCI Engineering, Inc. is proud is announce that Jeffery M. Langston, R.G., was elected Chairman of the St. Charles County Commission on Environmental Quality (CEQ).

The CEQ is a nine member board appointed by the County Executive, and approved by the County Council. The Commission advises the County Executive and County Council on environmental concerns with the goal of conserving the County’s natural resources and preventing degradation of the environment.

Langston also was instrumental in updating the environmental portions of the St. Charles County Master Plan – 2015. As a Senior Project Manager for SCI, Langston’s duties include Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments as well as Underground Storage Tank management activities.
