SCI’s Westerman Earns Master of
Special Inspection Certification
St. Charles, MO – August 12, 2008. SCI Engineering, Inc. is proud to announce that Jacob Westerman, Manager, Special Inspection Services, recently received certification by the International Code Council (ICC) as a Master of Special Inspection. He is now the only individual in the state of Missouri, and only one of 61 in the country who has earned this certification.
Earning the Master of Special Inspection designation illustrates Westerman’s knowledge and commitment to the industry, and places him among the leaders in the fields of structural masonry, reinforced concrete, prestressed concrete, structural welding, and structural steel and bolting special inspection.
Westerman has more than 12 years of professional experience and has been with SCI since 2004. He currently serves on the ICC’s Reinforced and Prestressed Concrete Exam Development Committee.
