Union, MO, April 4, 2008 – SCI Engineering, Inc is pleased to announce that Steven C. Carey, P.E., has joined SCI as a Senior Engineer and is responsible for the management of the Construction Services Group in the Union office.

With more than 30 years experience in Civil Engineering and Construction design, Mr. Carey’s duties include staff management and client development. He is also responsible for testing and reporting on projects involving fill control, concrete and asphalt, drilled pier and shallow foundations, and for Missouri transportation. Prior to joining SCI, Mr. Carey was the Franklin County Highway Administrator.

He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Missouri, Rolla and resides in Sullivan, Missouri.
