St. Charles, MO - February 24, 2010. SCI Engineering, Inc. is proud to announce that Karl Ruhmann, P.E., R.G, Vice President, has been elected to the St. Charles County Economic Development Center Board of Directors.

Ruhmann is one of four board members installed to the Board for 2010. As a member of the Board, Ruhmann will consult on some of the foremost issues facing the County, such as recruitment of new industries and businesses to help stimulate job growth.

Established in 1990 as a public-private initiative, the EDC serves as the lead economic development organization promoting planned growth and community excellence for all of St. Charles County, Missouri.
