St. Charles, MO, January 26, 2009 - SCI Engineering, Inc. (SCI) was recently recognized by the Concrete Council of St. Louis for its Quality Control/Quality Assurance services on the Loughborough Commons and Fairview Heights Target Store projects.

David Nolan, P.E. accepted the awards at the Council's annual Quality Concrete Awards dinner on behalf of SCI Engineering.

The new 127,000 square-foot Target retail store is located at the northwest corner of Frank Scott Parkway and Illinois Route 159 in Fairview Heights, Illinois. S.M. Wilson & Co was the General Contractor and RSP Architects was the architect of record.

The new Desco Loughborough Development is located northwest of Interstate 55, south of the intersection of Loughborough Road and South Grand Avenue in St. Louis, Missouri. The new construction consists of a three-story retail development with a building footprint of 270,000 square feet. ICR Construction Services was the General Contractor and KWA - Kathy Williams & Associates was the architect of record.
