SCI has offered “Lunch & Learn” presentations to A/E firms, private companies, and public sector agencies for years. Recently, the pace has increased, as well as the range of offerings from all our service groups.

On average, SCI professionals provide more than 70 training sessions in our clients’ offices per year. The concept is simple – we provide a training topic of your choice and bring lunch (or breakfast) into your conference room and spend 30 to 45 minutes sharing our experience with you and your staff.

SCI also offers a series of presentations in our two main offices in St. Charles, Missouri and O’Fallon, Illinois.

The majority of our topics have focused on the due diligence process. For example, one popular session focuses on items of environmental and geotechnical concern on a new development project and provides guidance on how to make a challenging site developable, even with shallow bedrock, groundwater impact, wetland issues, etc.

Another popular session has been our urban development/redevelopment program where guidance on the effective use of brownfields and historic tax credits is provided.
