Geotechnical Engineer
SCI is seeking a Geotechnical Project Manager with at least 0 to 5 years of experience in the engineering consulting industry.
Responsibilities Include:
- Planning and coordinating site studies
- Perform Geotechnical/geological evaluations
- Perform field explorations and collect samples
- Perform geotechnical lab testing
- Perform engineering analyses and calculations
- Write reports
- Interact and communication with clients and staff
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor
Requirements Include:
- MS degree, Geotechnical Engineering
- Passed FE Exam and eligible for PE exam
- Excellent writing, organizational, and communications skills essential
- Must be personable and able to communicate with clients and staff at all levels
- This position requires critical thinking and analysis; frequent sitting, standing, walking, bending, and lifting and carrying 50+ pounds; working in all weather conditions; and driving to and from project sites.

Environmental Field Scientist
SCI is seeking a Field Scientist with 1-3 years of experience performing environmental sampling activities including soil and groundwater sampling and underground storage tank (UST) sampling projects. Duties may also include Phase I/II Environmental Site Assessments. Candidates with MRBCA/TACO experience are preferred. Candidates with OSHA and related state certifications are preferred. Candidates should possess a BS degree in engineering, geology, or related field. Some technical writing with good grammar skills and an attention to detail required.

Marketing Assistant
SCI is seeking a part-time Marketing Assistant for our St. Charles, MO office. This position will support the overall marketing efforts of our Missouri and Illinois offices. Duties may include, but are not limited to:
- assisting with preparation of qualification packages and other selected RFPs requested by external agencies and A/E firms
- preparation of newsletter articles, press releases, and other written communication
- assisting with graphic design projects, website updates, and social media networking sites
- assisting with data entry and updates to client and employee information
A 4-year Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Communications is preferred, as is 1-2 years of marketing experience in the engineering/architectural industry.
Qualified candidates will be proficient in Microsoft Office. Graphic design experience with Illustrator, Photoshop and/or In Design is a plus. Also, experience with Deltek Vision is preferred. Applicants must possess strong written and oral communication skills, must be detail-oriented and have high standards for a quality product.
